Allister Aaron
Biography
Allister is a Vice President of portfolio operations at Kingswood Capital Management and is responsible for business strategy and operations at Kingswood’s portfolio companies. He works closely with the firm’s investment team, network of Operating Executives and portfolio company executive management to drive strategic initiatives and to recruit and deploy operating resources. Prior to Kingswood, Allister was the Chief Financial Officer of U.S. Strategic Metals (“USSM”), an integrated battery metals mine and processing facility headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. While at USSM, Allister led a variety of capital markets processes, raising approximately $385 million during his tenure which culminated in a $230 million investment from Appian Capital. He also directed the initial carve-out of USSM and his management responsibilities included corporate finance, accounting, procurement, human resources, and information technology. Previously, Allister worked at HPS Investment Partners in the private credit strategy and focused on senior debt capital solutions for the middle market and special situations. He graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor of Arts in History.
At Kingswood, Allister is involved with Lind Marine and is currently the Chief Financial Officer for the Company.
