Merche is the Chief Talent Officer at Kingswood Capital Management. Merche is responsible for human capital strategy across Kingswood and the firm’s portfolio companies, with a focus on talent assessment and development, expanding the firm’s capacity to attract and develop top-tier leadership talent to drive growth and create value within our portfolio.

Merche brings more than 25 years of experience with Fortune 100 and 500 companies and private equity firms. Prior to Kingswood she founded Coach Synapse LLC to provide talent, leadership, and organizational development services to major clients worldwide. Merche previously served as Managing Director, Chief Talent Officer, and Chief HR Officer at Grain Management L.L.C., a leading global communications and digital infrastructure investment firm. At Grain, she drove talent and leadership strategy to support the firm’s aggressive growth objectives, as well as assessing leadership, management, and boards at its portfolio companies—resulting in a $5 billion increase in Grain’s AUM during her tenure.

Prior to Grain, Merche led Goldman Sachs’ global coaching and advisory practice out of Hong Kong. She was also Head of Talent, Leadership & Organizational Development at Prudential Corporation in Hong Kong, and Director of Leadership and Organizational Development at Unilever in Singapore. She began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, spending 13 years in talent assessment and development roles across Europe and Asia.

Merche holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience at Columbia University and is a master’s degree student in Psychology at Harvard University. She holds an Economics and Business Administration degree from CUNEF Complutense University of Madrid. She is a certified Executive Coach and was awarded the highest Master Practitioner Executive Coaching level by the European Mentoring & Coaching Council. She is a Coach supervisor and assessor, a Board facilitator, and certified in numerous behavioral profiling and assessment tools like the Hogan Suite, MBTI, FiroB, TTI, OCI, OEI, LSI or i4 Neuroleader.
