Michael Niegsch
Biography
Michael is a Partner at Kingswood Capital Management and responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company oversight. He has an extensive background in control investing in the middle-market across a variety of industries and transaction types, including, buyouts of family- and entrepreneur-owned businesses, corporate divestitures, operational turnarounds, and restructurings.
Prior to Kingswood, Michael spent eight years at Comvest Partners, an operationally-focused middle market investment firm, where he was a Principal in the firm’s private equity strategy. At Comvest he was responsible for evaluating, executing and monitoring control investments. Michael served on the board of numerous Comvest portfolio companies in an oversight capacity.
Before joining Comvest, Michael worked in investment banking at UBS Investment Bank and Morgan Joseph TriArtisan. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Distinction from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
