Will Kersh

Biography

Will is a Vice President at Kingswood Capital Management and is responsible for business strategy and operations at Kingswood’s portfolio companies. Will works closely with the firm’s investment team, network of operating executives and portfolio company executive management to drive strategic initiatives and to recruit and deploy operating resources. Prior to Kingswood, Will served in the Private Equity Performance Improvement practice at Alvarez and Marsal. Prior to A&M he was CFO of The North American Guitar, a sponsor-backed retail company, where he led capital raising activities to support the launch of an online marketplace, led M&A activity and implemented cash management and working capital optimization strategies. He also served in strategy, transformation and M&A leadership roles at Nautilus, Inc and Flowserve Corp. Prior to industry Will spent 10+ years in advisory services including McKinsey & Co, AlixPartners and EY. Will began his career in the management development program of The Federal Reserve Bank. Will holds a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and an MBA from Duke University.
