Biography

Greg is a Principal, Portfolio Operations at Kingswood and is responsible for business strategy and operations at selected Kingswood’s portfolio companies. Greg works closely with the firm’s investment team, network of Operating Executives, and portfolio company executive management to drive strategic initiatives and to recruit and deploy operating resources.

Greg is a senior executive with 25+ years of turnaround and accelerating growth experience via General Management, Strategy/M&A, and Finance/Transformation roles with private-equity firms, Fortune 50 companies (PepsiCo) and Bain & Company. Greg has served as President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Transformation Officer for portfolio companies owned by Advent International, Riverwood Capital, Bain Capital, and Capricorn Partners.

Prior to Kingswood, Greg was most recently CFO at Industrious (Riverwood & Bain Capital portfolio company), where he helped the company significantly increase EBITDA and grow revenue 5x. Greg was also the Chief Transformation Officer for an Advent International portfolio company (First Watch Restaurants). Greg spent nine years as an executive with PepsiCo leading Strategy, Business Development, Marketing, & Finance teams. Previously, Greg served as President of TCBY and CFO of Mrs. Fields Famous Brands (owned by Capricorn Partners). Greg has also worked with NCH (a family-office, that owned middle market industrial goods and consumer goods companies) as the leader of the portfolio operations/strategy team. Greg previously worked with Bain & Company, advising companies across retail, industrial goods, telecom, and real estate industries.

Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Wheaton College and a Masters in Business Administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
