Biography
Mohammed Khalil is a Managing Director at Kingswood Capital Management and is responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including sourcing, transaction execution, and portfolio company oversight. Prior to joining Kingswood, Mohammed was a Director at Lone Star Funds, an opportunistic private equity firm where he focused on control investments across various industrial and services sectors and managed complex transactions, including corporate carve-outs.
Previously, Mohammed was with ORIX Capital Partners, an operationally-focused middle market private equity firm where he was responsible for evaluating, executing and monitoring control investments. Earlier in his career, Mohammed worked in investment banking at Jefferies & Co. Mohammed graduated from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
